Greetings from Hoi An Vietnam
This is my 2nd and final art food culture retreat in Hoi An for 2024. These are my visual memories from my 14 days in Central Vietnam.
Hello everyone! Hope you are all well and creatively inspired.
I am back from Central Vietnam and completed my 2nd art-food-culture retreat with Anna Barnes for 2024. This will also be my our last retreat in Hoi An ancient town for 2024. Stay tuned for our 2025 retreats which will be revealed very soon.
I designed all 8 experimental workshops to provide inspiration and instructions so that we can learn these useful techniques and tools to better understand Vietnam through art, food and culture.
My heart is still full of joy and filled with gratitude because I had very wonderful group of international participants who inspired me with their enthusiasm and hardworking attitude. They were not afraid to play and always up for a creative challenge.
Due to the unforeseen heat wave in Vietnam, we had to start the day earlier than scheduled and raced to complete our workshops before the mid day heat.

Art, food, and culture. All the good things! Hopefully you've got room for great drinking too, as I can heartily recommend the wonderful teas from Hatvala in Vietnam. Many a fine tea session I've had with their leaves. 😋

Your sketches are so beautiful and vibrant. Visiting Vietnam is on my list of travel but this must be such a special experience for an art, food, and culture retreat. Thanks for taking us on a journey.
