JUICING SUGAR CANES (Maxwell Hawker Centre)

Excited to be back at Maxwell Hawker Centre to capture our unique Singaporean food culture. I found a quieter corner of the centre and quickly noticed a drink stall uncle jucing sugar cane. Perfect subject and scene for a quick little sketch. I bought a cup of cold sugar cane juice and tuck myself into a corner. Tried to be sneaky and in stealth mode but he quickly came over to see what I was doing. He was super nice and curious about what I was doing. I showed him my half finished artwork and received a big approving smile from him. Big relief for me because drawing people is always scary. Have you tried sugar cane juice?
